To Save as Many Animals as Possible!

Animal Nature Sanctuary

Vision

  • A safe place for every animal
  • Health & Behavior Issues of every animal resolved so they are easy to place in furever homes
  • No rehoming to questionable homes due to poverty or temporary circumstances
  • Abusers in prison (cages) & animals in homes
  • All species protected & cared for
  • The needs of Spokane addressed &/or solved
  • All pressure taken off other shelters for best adoptions & animal care

Goals - how to achieve the vision

Martine Collette from Wildlife Waystations told us that we should consider 3 things before starting down this path: what is the problem, how can it be solved, & how to fund that solution.  That is exactly what we have done!

There are only a couple things slowing us down.

We need startup funding for our initialization & good people to work on our projects.  These are discussed on other pages but you can learn about some details of the big plan below.

  • 1,000+ acre sanctuary - to safely house every animal until the best possible home can be found
  • Wildlife Rehabilitation Facility to care for species that are sorely in need of a medical clinic
  • 24/7 low cost or free veterinary clinic to provide medical options to anyone who needs it - especially if hit by a car or critically ill
  • Deployment fostering for military personnel with service animal training for PTSD so their family pet becomes their permanent service animal!
  • Safe, temporary, resources for homeless people, domestic violence victims, disadvantaged youth, & elderly people with pets or elderly pets who need hospice
  • The only alternative kids club for animals lovers who don't want to slaughter their pets in 4H
  • Grief & Loss support, animal care classes, starting nonprofits - seminars, classes, & aid for individuals, businesses, & other nonprofits
  • & whatever else the Community feels we need to do for them!
